A family-friendly city
FERMOFAMILY is a project designed specifically for families. A series of events and initiatives for the little ones such as museum workshops, markets, readings, shows and a day entirely dedicated to them: FERMOFAMILY DAY, every Wednesday in July and August.
Throughout the week, many family events spread throughout the area and the Fermo Express, a colorful tourist train that gives you the thrill of wandering through the streets of the city to discover its beauties.
On Thursdays, while parents stroll downtown to enjoy the antiques and handicrafts market exhibition, children can participate in workshops at the museum every week dedicated to the discovery of a different ancient craft. While waiting for the activities to start, you can stroll among the stalls of the Children’s Market along the Strada Nuova.

Wednesday is… FermoFamily Day
Every Wednesday in July and August in Fermo are magical! Come to the center to experience a day entirely designed for families and children.
If you are at the beach you can reach the city without moving your car thanks to the Fermo Summer Bus, completely free on these special days (also available on Thursdays with a ticket).
The animated readings of Budding readers at the Girfalco, the children’s theater Favole e Stelle in Piazza del Popolo and the Fermo Express train await you.
