Among the sporting events that every year characterise the City of Fermo stands out, without any doubt, the Grand Prix of Capodarco. It’s an event that promotes the tourist and cultural image on an international level.
Back in 1964 the magic of Capodarco Gran Prix was born and started, a race for solidarity. Tradition, competition, virtue and sacrifice are only a part of the features due to this amazing totality of strengths that combined with fraternity and cohesion make the sporting miracle possible.
The Grand Prix testifies to how much the entire local community is consecrated to do historically: welcoming and supporting who is in difficulty.
Capodarco is the natural viaticum for the cycle professionalism and Fermo is proud to be the city where many great cyclists have passed through. Here they fought and sacrificed, they stood out before taking the big step and entering by right in the Olympus of this sporting discipline.
The sporting initiative involves around 500 people: athletes, their teams, volunteers and the organization’s friends.
